In prehistoric times, young Keda (Kodi Smit-McPhee) survived the wild and fierce nature after he was left by his tribe because he thought he was dead. He later became friends with wolves who were also left by his gang because they were injured by Keda. Facing the ferocious nature and the danger that came continuously, Keda and his cries had to arrive home before Winter arrived.
